Multnomah County Search and Rescue (SAR) volunteers are continuing to search the trails above Multnomah Falls for 37-year-old Alissa Marie McCrann, missing since Saturday.

Investigators received a tip from some hikers who believe they saw McCrann trail running on Saturday, but was not dressed or prepared for an extended stay in the cold and snow.

Anyone with additional information should contact the Missing Persons Unit by email,

Anyone seeing McCrann should immediately call 9-1-1 or contact an SAR volunteer.



The vehicle associated to missing 37-year-old Alissa Marie McCrann was located this afternoon parked at Multnomah Falls in the Columbia Gorge and has been recovered by police.

The Multnomah County Search and Rescue Team (SAR) has been activated and will be searching the trails in the area.

Any hikers who were in the area today, and saw McCrann, are asked to contact the Police Non-Emergency Line at 503-823-3333.



The Portland Police Bureau's Missing Persons Unit is asking for the public's help to locate a 37-year-old woman missing since Saturday December 19, 2015.

37-year-old Alissa Marie McCrann is described as 5'3" tall, 145 pounds, black hair, brown eyes, and normally wears glasses.

McCrann was last known to have finished a run in the area of Portland Adventist Medical Center on Saturday morning then left her home in the Powellhurst-Gilbert Neighborhood and has not been seen or heard from since that time. McCrann did not show up for work this morning, has no known mental health or addition issues, and does not have any known medical issues.

McCrann's vehicle, a 2011 Mazda CX7 is also missing. The vehicle has Oregon license plates 636GTS and has a large Portland Timbers "T" sticker in the back window.

There is no information at this point to suggest foul play.

Anyone seeing McCrann and/or her vehicle is asked to call 9-1-1 so police can assess her welfare.
